Napa, Calif. – Cephrus announced final completion of “The New Narrows Bridge: Completing a Modern Marvel” documentary slated for 2007 summer release. Over 200 tapes were shot recording interviews with engineers, designers, construction workers and the general public which will become historical records of the project.
“We are very pleased with the entire process as this project was years in the making. There is a bittersweet emotion when coming to the end of an endeavor such as this,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services. “We know that this is not the end of the many friendships made over the length of this project,” says Elliman.
Cephrus will release a 17-minute version of the film as part of their Cephrus Video Portal set to launch in the beginning of July 2007.

Napa, Calif. – Cephrus is pleased to announce that the final cut for the Aldea Children Services video is now complete and received rave reviews during their fundraising gala at the Carneros Inn, located in Napa, CA. Beringer Vineyards Selects Cephrus for Auction Napa Valley Creative Support
Napa, Calif. – Beringer Vineyards has selected Cephrus to design and produce a 15 foot banner that will be used to direct attention to their Auction Napa Valley lot which includes a recently restored 25 foot Airstream trailer filled with Beringer Vineyards’ signature Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The banner will be printed on canvas and done completely in house at Cephrus with an Epson 7800Pro which was acquired by Cephrus in early 2006.
“Cephrus certainly enjoys being an extension of the Foster’s Group,” says Craig Aranha, Senior Designer. “Our proximity and intimate knowledge of their 35+ brands offers Cephrus a large competitive advantage,” continues Aranha. “This banner is rather unique as it will be hung vertically. We’ve done that to grab people’s attention along with designing graphics that offer a little ‘tongue-in-cheek’ humor,” says Craig. “The Epson printer provides photo-quality results and we have been very happy with the investment,” adds Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services. “We have many examples of prints displayed around our office that demonstrate both our in-house photography and print capabilities,” says Elliman.
Cephrus can print images up to 2 feet wide and one hundred feet long while providing photo quality results. If your company needs a new corporate identity or graphic design, please feel free to give us a call today at (707) 963-3006.

Cephrus Completes Brochure Design for Spelletich Cellars
Napa, Calif. – Cephrus has redesigned Spelletich Cellars’ product brochure just in time for the upcoming Auction Napa Valley on June 9th, 2007. Spelletich Cellars has been a long-time client and naturally selected Cephrus based on past work that has been successfully done for the family.
“This is one example of the services that set us apart from other eCommerce companies as we offer more than just website design and eCommerce software- and do it successfully,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services. “Cephrus offers services such as corporate identity, video production, podcasting, and DVD duplication while other eCommerce companies must rely on third-party subcontractors in order to get this kind of work completed which poses many problems,” says Elliman. “Cephrus has an intimate relationship with our clients, an established rapport with the people involved, and already has a sense of what they are looking for. Subcontractors don’t have this advantage and must come into the project with no previous knowledge of the work already completed for the company,” notes Elliman.
“This is where Cephrus can complete jobs faster for less without sacrificing quality because of our historical knowledge of the company, the people, and the products, and can successfully deliver a project that is complimentary to the materials surrounding it,” says Elliman. “This is just one of the many reasons why companies that choose us for website design also utilize our services for their corporate identity and marketing materials,” says Craig Aranha, Senior Designer.
Through Cephrus’ creative genius, Spelletich now has a product and company brochure that informs their customers with stunning graphics without going over budget. If your company needs a new corporate identity or graphic design, feel free to give us a call today at (707) 963-3006.

Submerce Enterprise Platform Promotion Helps Set Record-Setting Pace
Napa, Calif. – As part of Cephrus spinning Submerce off as its own entity, the company is currently offering Submerce Winery and Enterprise Editions with no startup fee through July 31st, 2007. The promotion has set a record pace for new websites to be powered by the Submerce platform.
“We believe that eliminating startup fees could potentially open the door for eCommerce to companies who otherwise may not have the kind of budget allowance required for an eCommerce platform,” says Sarah Elliman, Director of Sales and Marketing. “This also helps lessen the sting for companies who are unsatisfied with another eCommerce provider whose systems are full of bugs or who may not deliver on the features they advertised,” says Elliman. “Vaporware is a common problem with technology companies that are struggling to keep their software new by either misleading their customers with features they don’t have or by advertising features which simply do not work,” adds Tim Holtermann, Senior Programmer. “Cephrus delivers features which meet our strict quality and usability requirements,” continues Holtermann. “This strengthens our clients’ confidence and allows them the assurance that they are using the best tools available without requiring an unrealistic amount of tech support to maintain stability.”
The Submerce Promotion is valid until July 31st, 2007 and will not be extended, so anyone interested in discussing the migration of an existing site is encouraged to schedule a demonstration soon as time is quickly running out.

Melbourne, Florida. – Akin Pest Prevention Plus has selected Cephrus to create a new corporate identity and website further identifying Cephrus as a viable and affordable resource for print and web design. Cephrus competed against many companies across both the United States and abroad and was selected based on their past work and quick turn-around time.
“The quality of work that Cephrus completed in the past and the reasonable prices blew us away when compared to other bids that we received from our RFP,” said Carl Akin, owner of Akin Pest Prevention Plus. “What they have completed in just a couple of days is far better than what our previous designers delivered in weeks if not months” stated Akin. “This website will be another example of how a design can go extremely well when Cephrus is given the opportunity to flex our design muscle,” said Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services. “In just a couple of days, we were able to design a new logo and an overall website design that provides a well-balanced proportion of aesthetics and information.”

Cephrus to Offer Two Ways to Get Started with Submerce

NAPA, Calif. – In an effort to offer the Submerce platform to companies with smaller budgets, Cephrus will be launching three new ways to get your eCommerce website running. Starting June 1st, Cephrus will offer the first Submerce platform option at one low price without migration services, a second service as a turn-key migration service which provides all customer service and technical support needed to migrate or build your eCommerce website, and lastly, Cephrus will continue to offer complete application personalization for companies who require specialized tools or integration with their existing applications.
“We’ve built Submerce from the ground up to be easy enough for anyone to get started in just a couple of days without having to choose a lower end solution which doesn’t offer the advanced features that our solution offers,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services. “Our company is unique because we are open to application personalization when very few alternate eCommerce companies offer this as a choice. We work closely with all of our clients to develop new modules for Submerce which can custom tailor their installation. Cephrus Goes Green with Free Pickup and Delivery to the Napa and Sonoma Counties
NAPA, Calif. – Today, Cephrus announced a new free pickup and delivery service as part of their commitment to a new corporate initiative to go green and reduce their carbon footprint. Cephrus has made steps to implement this program by acquiring a company owned Toyota Prius hybrid and by installing more power-efficient servers, indoor lighting and appliances.
“We wanted to announce our commitment to reducing our energy consumption by first lowering our office energy costs and secondly, by reducing our travel costs,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services. “We determined that one opportunity to reduce energy costs was to move to new offices which include alternative types of energy-efficient construction,” continues Elliman. “The new space offers 270 degrees of windows which bring in natural light and dual pane glass to keep the office cool. Since many of our employees travel to meet with clients, we’ve been opting to hold more conference calls and online meetings,” says Jonathan. “Our clients recognize these types of meetings can be more productive and easier to schedule. Adding the Toyota Prius hybrid further helps reduce our dependence on gasoline.”

Cephrus Set to Release Customer Type Auto-Segmenting Module
NAPA, Calif. – Cephrus released details today regarding their Customer Type Auto-Segmenting Module for their Submerce eBusiness solution which offers additional Customer Relationship tools to their already large list of standard features. The new module will allow administrators to configure customer types which can be automatically changed based on the customer’s purchasing habits. Additional features offer the ability to notify the customer that they have been moved to a new level which benefits the eCommerce platform with yet another method of customer communication.
“Wine merchants that use our Submerce eBusiness platform will see the biggest advantage since they offer so many products and a range of purchasing habits. These tools were designed to automate many of the tasks they had to manage on a daily basis, allowing them to focus more on sales, rather than administrative duties,” says Tim Holtermann, Senior Programmer. “Wineries will benefit from this module as they can use the tools to communicate to different customer types with incentives and offers that are designed with their purchasing habits in mind,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services.

Cephrus Releases Submerce Customer Allocation Module
NAPA, Calif. – After months of development and intense customer beta testing, Cephrus has announced the long-anticipated Customer Allocation Module for their Submerce eBusiness solution. Designed for companies that want to promote exclusive benefits to members and select clients, the new module can be added to any of the levels of the Submerce product family such as Submerce Point of Sale, Wine Club and eCommerce.
“This is a powerful module that allows Submerce users to restrict access to products or for available quantities to be purchased based on the customer type,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services. “So, depending on how many customer types your company has, it allows you to segment the availability of your products since we have no limits on customer types unlike other eCommerce packages,” continues Elliman. “Because this works with all of our installation types, users of our Submerce POS have the opportunity to override the restrictions at anytime while still following industry rules,” says Jonathan.
