Cephrus Releases Details for Submerce Event Management Module
ST. HELENA, Calif. – Cephrus released details regarding their Event Management Module which will allow sites powered by the Submerce system to manage onsite and offsite events more effectively. The newest module is one of the many that has recently been released for the Submerce eBusiness platform. “We’ve been extremely business here at Cephrus designed modules that are not available on any platform or through any software package and this is what sets us apart from others in our space,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Cephrus Creative Services.
We designed Submerce from day one to go just beyond a shopping cart, hence the term eBusiness solution rather than eCommerce,” continues Elliman. Cephrus has four more modules that are coming to the end of the development cycle and will be released by late July. “This is a true testament to our customer service as we will continue to respond to our client’s requests by developing the tools and features that each individual winery requires- not treating them as one type of industry as each of our clients runs things a little different and the Submerce platform adjusts quite easliy,” says Jonathan.
We have a few winery clients that have events on their properties and they needed an easy-to-use event management system but only found readily available software packages that were either too expensive, too hard to use, or didn’t have the ability to sell tickets online,” says Sarah Elliman, Director of Sales for Cephrus. “We’ve developed a module that can be added to any Submerce powered website, the ability to sell tickets online, confirm reservations and print a guest list any time”, adds Elliman.
This was one of the tools that we have been working on, but when we heard the comments from our clients, that helped us move this feature to the top of our internal ‘wishlist’”, says Tim Holtermann, Director of Product Development. “The management of something so simple doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive”, says Holtermann.

ST. HELENA, Calif. – Cephrus released details regarding their Purchase Order Module which will allow sites powered by the Submerce system to generate electronic purchase orders and track them all the way from the creation and supplier approval to the receiving and the inventory updating process.”
“We wanted to take the hassle our of vendor and supplier management and empower users of our system to have all the information regarding the status of their purchase orders at their fingertips 24/7 and we delivered more than that- it’s portable,” says Sarah Elliman, Director of Sales for Cephrus. “We’ve added tools that suppliers have access to which will streamline many of the processes that are currently done manually,” adds Elliman.
Tie this into our Submerce POS and Supply Chain Management engines and you have very powerful system that does not require complicated software installations and months of training to operate effectively,” says Tim Holtermann, Director of Product Development. “We put you in control of your inventory instead of the data owning you,” says Holtermann.

The Membership Referral program has many administrative options that automate the process of crediting the customers who made the initial referral and track it all the way through the chain of referrals. “We wanted to make the system as automated as possible because the management of this simple task can get quite complicated and with our module taking many of the mundane tasks are taken out of the equation in many different levels,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Cephrus Creative Services.
