Race Prep relies on Submerce Enterprise Edition for eCommerce and Point of Sale
Race Prep, a fast-growing hobby store located in Southern California, has selected the Submerce eCommerce and Point of Sale solution to meet their web and retail sales requirements. Built upon the standard installation, Race Prep revels in having one solution to manage multiple points of sales thereby eliminating the need to synchronize multiple applications. One of the biggest advantages of using the Submerce platform is having one database to manage multiple areas of sales, CRM and products. “Having POS and eCommerce powered by one application simplifies managing products, people, and orders since customers can view and modify orders they have placed both online and in the store,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services. “Many customers tend to forget what they bought in the store, so when they need parts, they are unsure of what they are looking for. With Submerce, customers can sign into their account, view their order history and order the parts they need 24/7,” explains Elliman.
Race Prep is set to launch in early August and offers radio-controlled hobby products at competitive prices with unparalleled customer service.
“Through one backend, Submerce makes creating and processing orders a snap because it is simple to use, yet can handle sophisticated orders with ease,” says Tim Holtermann, Senior Programmer at Cephrus.
Blicker Pierce Wagner Wine Merchants Celebrate Their One-Year Anniversary
Celebrating their one-year anniversary, Blicker Pierce Wagner thought it was the perfect time to update their website design and corporate identity. They immediately looked to Cephrus since they have been extremely happy with the level of quality delivered in the past.
“It’s great to see a company grow as quickly as Blicker Pierce Wagner. We have worked with them from the very beginning,” says Sarah Elliman, Director of Sales and Marketing. “They were early adopters of our Submerce Sales Order Manager solution and have provided valuable feedback to help make it one of the most popular solutions for the wine merchant industry,” continues Elliman.

Akin Pest Prevention Plus
Akin Pest Prevention Plus came to Cephrus with a common problem after their webmaster disappeared in the middle of their initial web design. Without access to design files or mockups, Cephrus was looking at having to start from scratch and had to catch up quickly so that Akin would not lose any additional time.
Akin had no established corporate identity or existing copy and having little info with which to begin, the Cephrus team of designers took inventory of all existing assets and put together an aggressive production and launch schedule to keep things on track. Reviewing the materials at hand, Cephrus was able to propose a new logo and corporate identity which Akin Pest approved of in a matter of days. “They were thrilled with how quickly we were able to turn things around considering their last designer had taken weeks to complete simple change requests,” says Craig Aranha, Senior Designer at Cephrus. “In less than two weeks, their website was launched, their sales people had business cards that communicated their brand, and their site traffic was picking up,” continues Aranha.

Vintage Wine Trust Selects Cephrus for Vineyard Photography throughout California
Vintage Wine Trust, a prominent vineyard property owner located in San Rafael, was in dire need of new photos for marketing materials that represented their properties scattered throughout California. The photos had to be high quality and turned around quickly. They never thought a company would be able to meet their tight deadlines until coming in contact with Cephrus.
With less than a week’s notice, Cephrus coordinated the logistics for traveling to and photographing eight vineyard properties located throughout Central and Northern California which is no small feat considering the fact that many of these properties are not serviced by county roads. “Utilizing GPS, we managed to get a logistics plan together that had us begin in Dunnigan on Friday and end in King City by Sunday,” explains Jonathan Elliman, Director of Creative Services. “With over 600 miles to cover, the timing had to be perfect as vineyards need to be shot during optimal times of the day,” continues Jonathan. “So by Sunday, we had over 500 images and one satisfied client and we were able to send the files to our Napa office for post processing which meant that they were shot and then sent to our client in near real time,” says Elliman.
Cephrus has recently launched their new aerial photography services which are done safely and cost effectively through the use of a radio-controlled helicopter allowing access to areas not accessible by full-scale aircraft.
